Lifepal helps you manage your health check-ups, continuously track, record and understand random symptoms and know when you must visit a doctor.
The key idea is that we do not always keep up with our check-ups because of lack of time, but also because doctor visits add hassle, anxiety, complication, fear and cost. We usually visit the doctor when we see or feel clinical signs and symptoms – which may be too late for diseases where early clinical intervention is needed. In addition, we often don’t want to waste a doctor’s time for minor symptoms that may be nothing – while of course we cannot know, as we are not doctors.
Lifepal’s medical team, comprised of doctors from different specialties, is starting with the management of random symptoms that may be associated with Cancer, for which early detection is vital to overcome it. The app’s medical team has explored all early symptoms associated with all cancer types and offers users the opportunity to track these symptoms on a continuous basis, informing them if and when they need to see a doctor or do a medical test.
The capability of tracking symptoms associated with other serious and chronic diseases will soon follow before the complete spectrum of all types of diseases is covered. Other health-related services are also currently considered to be added on the app soon.
The app is not claiming to know everything, does not provide a definite diagnosis and cannot replace a doctor – what it can do is help you decide if a visit to the doctor is needed, and make that visit more productive since you will have all your related health and symptoms information at one place.
